PATNA: JD (U) rebel Sharad Yadav will embark on the third phase of his ‘Jan Samvad Yatra’ from Patna district’s Narayan village, located on Patna-Bakhtiarpur route, on November 3.
The Rajya Sabha member has raised a banner of revolt against party president and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar over his decision to dump the Grand Alliance and form a new government in alliance with BJP in Bihar.
During this three-day yatra, Sharad will visit different places in Patna, Begusarai, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger and Lakhisarai districts. He will address at least 30 public meetings to inform people about, what his supporters say, the “murder of mandate” by Nitish.
“On the first day, Sharad will address public meetings at Narayan (Fatuha), Bakhtiapur, Ganjpar, Barh, Hathidah, Mokama (all in Patna district), Barauni, Begusarai, Balia, Sahebpur Kamal (all in Begusarai district) and Khagaria district HQ town,” former MP and Sharad’s associate Arjun Rai told TOI on Wednesday.
On November 4, Sharad’s public meetings are scheduled at Mansi, Maheshkhunt, Pasraha (all in Khagaria district), Narayanpur, Bihpur, Kharik, Naugachhia, Barari and Bhagalpur.
On November 5, he will address public meetings at Nathnagar, Akbarpur, Sultanganj (in Bhagalpur district), Ghoghat, Bariyarpur, Munger (in Munger district), Suryagarha and Barahiya (Lakhisarai district), Rai said.
According to Rai, Sharad will also inform people about the anti-people policies of the Narendra Modi government, including the GST and its devastating impact on small traders.
Sharad had earlier undertaken similar yatra in Saran, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Saharsa and Madhepura from August 10 to 12 and in six districts of Shahabad and Magadh region from September 25 to 28.
