Govinda was the undisputed dancing star of the 90s. He along with the then top actresses, Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and Rambha. Well, he worked up a storm with his dancing numbers like Hero No 1, Aankhiyon Se Goli Maarein among others. While now he has aged, his spirit is unwavering and he is back once again with a movie Aa Gaya Hero to impress us with his comedy, dance and all things characteristically associated with the brand Govinda. Now, we just got to see the first song from the movie and undoubtedly it is a dance number. Well, he still moves and dances like a dream and it was quite entertaining to watch him on screen, he still has that magic.
Well, the song is crooned by Shaan and penned by Govinda himself. We don’t know if the movie will be a hit or not but the song certainly will remind you of Govinda. Now, the actor was in the news not just for the movie but also for the controversial statements he made against his once friend and favourite director David Dhawan. He told the media that they drifted apart when Dhawan did not give him a role in Chashme Baddoor despite remaking the movie was his idea and on top of that he was kept in dark that his role went to Rishi Kapoor. He revealed, “Suddenly, I got to know that Rishi Kapoor is doing my role. I never get upset with David because we have worked in so many films that we are used to quarreling. But this time, we had a fight. I was like, ‘You didn’t even tell me’. I feel this is how the film industry works. He added, “I never go against my heart. If I work with him, I know it will take me three-four days just to get normal. Wherever you have expectations, you get hurt. It’s in my nature,” says Govinda.I am hurt. But I am not blaming him. He must have his own reasons. He might be feeling, ‘How do I meet him if I can’t offer him work?’ But my thinking is, one should say clearly that ‘We can’t work together, so I can’t give you work. But let’s meet, talk’.”
